Our Krasnodar safari park is undoubtedly very good, large and it is pleasant to come there time after time to walk with a child, no matter how old he is. And I say this not because I live in Krasnodar and everything is closer and more pleasant. Our safari park is truly unique.
For more than 10 years we have been going here with my son once a year — every two years, and every time he changes for the better, grows and increases, the conditions for keeping animals, the diversity of species and many other indicators improve.
The park is located on the «Sunny Island», this is not the center of Krasnodar, but you can get there from the center both by your own car and by a huge amount of public transport.
The last time we were in the safari park was in February, it was quite cold, so many enclosures in the park were empty. The animals were either in a covered heated pavilion or hidden from the eyes of visitors in a huge hangar. When it is warm, the animals will take their places throughout the park. But this did not upset us much, since even those species of animals and birds that are available to visitors are just a huge amount, we had enough time for three walks.
Let’s start with a walk in the covered pavilion.

And with these meerkat guys, we got stuck for a long time, how funny! We also got to feed them, very interesting. And by the way, they are very contact animals, but you can’t pull your hands towards them.

By the way, in the territory of the park, the habitats of animals are divided into zones. The zones are signed or marked with sculptures and bas-reliefs relating to these regions.

The zoo has a «contact zone» where animals can be fed with food from a special apparatus and touched.

Their ears are thin and very pleasant to the touch. The zoo employee is very pleasant and told us for a long time about the features of this breed and that they have very special and rich milk.
